Here’s the recap on Week 16. We’ll try and be better bloggers. Lack of updates is our fault.

Argos 35, Als 17: It’s Like They Want A Home Grey Cup Game

  • Byron Parker is at it again.
  • Robert Edwards exacts some revenge.
  • Montreal will play in the East semi-final – on the road (maybe)?
  • MVP: Robert Edwards - Cut or not, Edwards sure stepped up against his old team. Eddie ran for 115 yards and scored a TD.
  • LVP: Jarrett Payton – Edwards replacement wasn’t as good, he had 41 yards on nine carries.

Lions 24, Eskimos 18: B.C. Plays To Lose, Still Wins

  • Clermont uncovered on second an long.
  • LeFors was okay but still threw three picks and failed to score three times from the 7-yard line.
  • Gone Danny Gone.
  • MVP: Jason Clermont – Two massive receptions completely changed the game for the Leos.
  • LVP: Rick Campbell – The Eskies D coordinator still hasn’t learned from the Stegall catch.

Riders 40, Ti-Cats 23: Andre Proulx Will Toss Your Ass

  • The Andy Fantuz Show.
  • This ejection thing is going way out of control.
  • Casey Printers = milk carton.
  • MVP: Andy Fantuz – Shells out 2,000 in tickets and plays like a star. The second year wonder had 240 yards receiving and 3 TDs.
  • LVP: Casey Printers - He’s getting too much to get hurt. Also Hamilton’s DB’s were terrible.

Stampeders 38, Blue Bombers 25: Guess Who’s Back?

  • I guess his shoulder is alright.
  • Bombers really don’t want the East division title.
  • Calgary’s offence looks good and the D finally stopped someone.
  • MVP: Henry Burris - he had 401 yards and 5 effing TDs. Nice return Hank.
  • LVP: Kyries Hebert and Tom Canada – Two of the leaders on the Winniped defence and they totalled two tackles combined.
