Sweet Sweet Fantasy: Week 9

Every week RFTW will roll out its fantasy football picks. You can play CFL fantasy football here. Week eight picks are here. Each week we’ll break it down like this:

The best picks from Week 8 – Starting: Kerry Joseph, Geroy Simon. Benching: Tyler Ebell. Worst: Benching Smilin Hank.

Huge Week

QB – Kevin Glenn: With only two games this week, Glenn seems to have a good match-up against the depleted Argos.

RB – Jesse Lumsden: A must have RB every week. The kid is a monster.

R – Ben Cahoon: He’ll finally get some end zone love this week.

DEF – Winnipeg: Rocky Butler + new starting tailback + the East’s best defensive = turnovers.

Zzzzz (Sleepers)

QB – Jason Maas: He’s been down a lot this year but needs a big performance to get his team a win and on the right track.

RB – Robert Edwards: No one is expecting much from Edwards but he’ll be playing with a gynormous chip on his shoulder.

R - Chris Bauman: The number one overall pick should benefit from the presence of new wide-out Jason Armstead.

DEF - Hamilton: The D was huge inits first and only win and will need to hit the repeat button.

Bench Splinters

QB – Rocky Butler: See above.

RB – Any second stringer: All of the starters this week (Edwards) are entrenched in their roles at the moment.

R – Jason Armstead: Not in town long enough to learn a new offence. Should be good on returns though.

DEF - Toronto: We don’t like the match-up this week.
