- Member of the Florida Gators from 1984-87.
- The former walk-on was 1984 SEC player of the year and finished as most decorated passer in conference history.
- Drafted in the the 7th round of the 1988 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins.
- Greatest moustache-hair combo ever.
- Recently accepted the head coaching job at Jacksonville University. Watch the press conference.
- Played seven years in the CFL for four teams. Sacramento, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Toronto. He retired after the 2001 season.
- Member of the WLAF’s Orlando Thunder.
- Passed for 501 yards in a game for the Argonauts in 1998. He was named a CFL Eastern Conference all-star that same year.
- Tore his ACL in 1990 playing basketball with Neal Anderson.
- As a head coach led Florida’s Trinity Catholic high school football program from scratch to a state championship.
- Signed with the Indianapolis Colts after the 1995 CFL season. Has a 100 per cent NFL completion percentage.
- In 1990, Bell worked as a graduate assistant at Florida under the Ol’ Ball Coach Steve Spurrier.
