With the news that Troy Westwood has lost his job (for now) as kicker of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers we bring you this little ditty. A unquestionably more spry Westwood running for an 18 yard touchdown in 1995, against a brutally clueless Riders team.
If you listen closely you can hear the defence say “Richie back up,” “You’re gonna miss this shit” and “Faking, FAKE!” The commentators; the ageless Don Wittman and the recently exonerated (almost) James Curry.
BTW, the benching means Westwood’s consecutive games streak ends at 273.
