Dancing Gabe vs. The Chicken Man

Do you prefer Winnipeg’s Dancing Gabe or Saskatchewan’s Chicken Man?
Dancing Gabe

The Chicken Man

Hard to tell if Gabe’s got game from the above clip but here’s one that shows his wide array of skillz. We like the “Dual Air Guitar.” We also love how both of these guys [...]

The Hardware: Week 5

Here’s RFTW’s Week 5 selections for the best and worst of the week. Last week’s picks were especially stellar as we nailed each and every award winner.
RFTW Picks
Offensive POW – Kerry Joseph – QB (Sask): Milt Stegall may be the sentimental choice but KJ accounted for four of his team’s touchdowns. He only passed for 162 [...]

Get It On eBay: Argos Debut New Unis – Sell Them Immediately

That was quick. After a 26-13 loss to the Montreal Alouettes on Thursday night the Argos have given up on their new baby blue jerseys. Several game worn and autographed Argo uniforms have appeared on eBay. Most notably the pictured one of Damon Allen. I wonder if it smells like Gold Bond, Preparation H and [...]

Lions 32, Stamps 27: Ho Hum, B.C. Wins

Let’s be serious for a second. You mean to tell us that the B.C. Lions have won three straight games with their second and primarily their third string QB’s. If Calgary couldn’t beat B.C. yesterday they are in some trouble. They got destroyed by both Saskatchewan and Toronto and now lost to a beatable B.C. [...]

Riders 54, Eskimos 14: Esks Eviscerated

Sheesh, the Saskatchewan Roughriders completely obliterated the Edmonton Eskimos yesterday. It was the Eskimos worst defeat in eight years and it put the Riders into sole possession of second place. The Riders scored every way imaginable and obviously tried to prove that they should have beaten the Eskies in week four. The gory details:

The story.
The [...]

Bombers 36, Ti-Cats 18: Flock of Stegalls

Exhale. Milt Stegall caught two touchdown passes (sort of) breaking the CFL’s all-time TD record of 137 held by George Reed and Mike Pringle.Lost in all of the hubbub was the Bombers improving to 3-1-1 good for first in the East and Hamilton dropping to 0-5. And even better the Bombers ran up the score [...]

Seniors Can’t Bench

 Not the accuser
We’re a day late on this but it’s not because we didn’t want to write about it. Former CFL receiver Craig Ellis was cleared of charges of, for lack of a better term, beating up an old dude in a gym. Basically on January 23, 2006, Ellis was by a weight a machine and [...]

Alouettes 26, Argos 13: Don’t Be Like Mike

The Alouettes doubled up the double blue last night but the game was a lot closer than the score would indicate. The Argos had a chance late in the game but an catch incompletion to Arland Bruce III was challegened and upheld by the referee – even though it looked like it should have been over [...]

Dead E(n)dwards?

After a slow start to the season (2.7 yards per carry) Montreal running back Robert Edwards may be on the outs. The Gazette’s Herb Zurkowsky is reporting that Edwards did not accompany the team to Toronto – in his place Jarret Payton. The CFL rookie is the son of NFL great Walter Payton. Sweetness Jr. will [...]
